Covid-19 Info

The recent events have forced us to redefine the concept of cleaning within our facility. To ensure our guests' well-being and safety, here are the 7 golden rules now in effect in our Chalet

1. Ventilation

The healthy country air, the spring air that fills the room when dawn arrives. Soon summer will arrive, already lurking in the still shy rays of the rising sun.

With it, the air, that swirls and renews itself in our interiors. It is our main concern, it is the air we breathe, and its high quality will be guaranteed by us.

2. Compliance with Covid regulations

Just a few weeks or months ago, the mention of "barrier gestures" would have reminded you of the eponymous guards who secured the roads as trains passed by - which could then conceal more.

But today, after hearing it over and over again, you know what these gestures cover: masks, sanitising gels and gloves, the victorious triptych against the spread of the virus that so suddenly bursts into our lives.

We strictly adhere to the guidelines set by the government.

It is difficult, however, to apply "social distance" to cleaning a hotel room, as we do not yet have a robot sophisticated enough to pick up the towels lying in the bathroom. Perhaps one day..

3. Use of a good disinfectant

During a pandemic, can you distinguish between "good" and "bad" disinfectants? By itself, a disinfectant disinfects, you can tell and it is already very good. A disinfectant that degreases is a degreaser. And a disinfectant that "spreads lavender and orange peel essential oils" is a scam.

We use products that comply with the standards issued by the Environmental Protection Agency.

That is, not only do they eliminate germs, bacteria and viruses, but also respect the integrity of nature, by not emitting toxic substances.

5. Use of disposable supplies

We use disposable cleaning products to make sure we don't spread the virus.

All our products are made from recycled materials and are biodegradable.

6. Ultra high temperature fabric washing

All of our fabrics (sheets, curtains, towels, slippers...) are washed at a very high temperature. After trying 600° and noticing some loss of material in the washing process - as well as in the staff assigned to these tasks, we opted for a 60°, which is much more modest in comparison, but is still much more suitable if you want to be able to take advantage of our cotton-based supplies.

7. Removal of non-essential documents and items

Exceptionally, we will remove all non-essential documents and objects: decorative items, boring documentation about the thimble museum located 2 km away and the 1991 yearbook.
